We have volunteer openings in our Labor & Delivery, Ambulatory and Surgical waiting room areas.
These volunteers need to be very compassionate, multi-taskers, supportive of families (including children) and enjoy learning more about our surgical areas.

Do you enjoy being a supportive and customer service focused volunteer who is comfortable working with families and individuals in stressful situations? Do you find surgery and working closely with nurses and surgeons interesting? Our surgery waiting room has several shifts available. There is only one volunteer/shift so this position requires a regular commitment of one 4-hour shift per week. If for some reason you are unable to make it, a substitute MUST be found to fill the position. This position requires a training commitment of up to five times and a two year length in commitment. If you are interested and able to fulfill the requirements, please contact Dawn and we will have you shadow a volunteer. The available shifts are:
KP Santa Clara volunteers take over 33,000 blood pressures a year. If you enjoy talking one-on-one with members and like to be busy, come and learn how to take blood pressures for our visitors. This screening service is a great way to interact with people. You do not have to have previous skills, you will be trained. We are looking for volunteers for all shifts, 8:30 - 12:30 PM, 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM, and 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM every day. If you are interested, let Dawn know and we will introduce you to this service!
Kaiser Permanente-Campbell has volunteer opportunities in the Health Education Department at the Kaiser Permanente Campbell Medical Offices.
Volunteers will assist Health Plan Members with accessing information on a variety of health related topics. Volunteers will also help organize, hand out, sell, & stock education materials, sign members up for classes, and monitor blood pressures.
